This Personal Feeling won 1st place at the Chicago Archive Collective Reuse Competition in 2021. It was made using audio and video from three Chicago archives- Studs Terkel Radio Archive, South Side Home Movie Project, and Media Burn Archive. It is about how your conception of home evolves as you grow older, and celebrates the city of Chicago as home. It is one of my favorite things I have made, and none of the footage or audio is mine! Thank you to the archives for creating this competition and opening their archives to video artists.
