Hello and welcome! Every part of everything you see on this website was made by me (unless otherwise noted). I make non-narrative moving images and sometimes still images. I enjoy going out with a camera, seeing what I can find, then experimenting with sound, image order, layering, and other digital effects to create an engaging experience for the viewer. I do this because I believe the true essence of film/video as an art form is to record moving images and sounds and edit them together in interesting ways, not necessarily to tell a story. I like the idea of documenting “reality”. I believe that can only be done if the artwork exposes the limits and conventions of the medium, and that is clear to the viewer in the final product. I graduated from the University of Chicago in 2023, and I currently work at a winery in upstate New York.
